Complete a Boy Scout application and health history, and have it signed by your parent or guardian. Complete
the pamphlet exercises on child abuse with your parent or guardian. Find a Scout Troop near your home.
Understand and agree to live by the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan. Agree to live by the Outdoor
Code.

When you have done these things, the Scoutmaster will give you a certificate of membership, and
you can proudly wear the badge and uniform that show you are a member of the Boy Scouts of America.

Demonstrate tying the square knot. Describe the Scout Badge.
Participate in a Scoutmaster Conference.
